Court Approves Humana Settlement

The proposed settlement with Humana in the Academy's, et al, suit against four local insurers has been approved in a joint hearing conducted by Judge Jay Bamberger of the Boone County Circuit Court and Judge David Davis of the Hamilton County Court of Common Pleas. In considering the settlement, the Court learned that only one physician in the entire Greater Cincinnati area had chosen to opt out of the settlement by the deadline for doing so.
