The second series of free, online technology educational webinars for Academy members and their staff will begin October 17 and run through October 31. The goal in presenting these webinars is to help Academy members receive effective training on topics of importance that are relevant, current and trustworthy. A variety of topics are offered. Presented by the Academy's technology partner, Positive Business Solutions, Inc. (PBSI), webinar content is designed to be educational, not commercial.

Topics to be presented in October include:

The program, hosted by the Academy of Medicine of Cincinnati, is planned for Thursday, October 19, at Seasons 52. The event features the installation of the Academy’s 2017–2018 President Gregory W. Rouan, MD, along with the induction of the 2017–2018 Academy of Medicine of Cincinnati Council. In addition, Academy members who have been in the practice of medicine for 50 years will receive the Ohio State Medical Association’s 50–Year Physician award. The Academy Foundation will also honor its Daniel Drake Humanitarian Award recipient, Steven Kleeman, MD.
